Beyonce's Surprise Album Trending Towards No. 1 on Billboard 200

Well it has been a very interesting weekend for music lovers who love Marvin Gaye and Beyonce but first lets start with B the Queen.

Beyonce unexpectingly dropped her latest album "Beyonce" and guess what it wasn't the physical version it was the digital for $15.99 only on Itunes. The internet went crazy with bloggers, news sites, YouTube and online radio. In 3 hours Beyonce sold a whopping 80,000 downloads from 1 site exclusively, and in just 2 days she sold close to 500,000 downloads on that same site...Itunes which wholesale wise amounts to $5,160,000 for her record label. she just came and knocked Garth Brooks hopes of being #1 on Billboard 200 Charts off his label's wish list..oops hope list...lol. Her husband Jay Z and Kanye West this year has changed the way music is marketed without major backing with promotions in pre-radio or pre-video to help sell their music. And here's another thing you can't even get a single song except for the one done by D.J. Stevie Tee imaging hers called "Bow Down, I Been On" who we will talk about in a minute who is D.J.'ing the "Marvin Gaye Tribute"

BUT HERE: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/bow-down-i-been-on/id639918757

You have to buy the whole thing in order to get any of Beyonce's sounds which includes a full length video of each song from the album as well.

In other news D.J. Stevie Tee who released the above song to reply back to Beyonce's Bow Down by stating in the title to not Bow Down to her but to God is being part of a Tribute to Marvin Gaye which is presented by "Journey To Dance" in Tallahassee, Florida on February 15th 2014.  He will be the official D.J. for the event which tickets can be purchased here: http://journeytodance.vpweb.com/default.html

The Marvin Gaye Tribute has risen from the dead we must say because at one point there was not many talking about him since the new wave of Pop, R&B and Rap. Recently Robin Thicke released a song 'Blurred Lines" which remade Marvin Gayes Hit "Got To Give It Up" and has resulted in a lawsuit between the estate of Marvin Gaye and his children and Robin Thicke. Thicke's song features rappers T.I. and Pharrell Williams who is also part of the lawsuit.

A lot think that the remake of the song is bridging the gap between the old school and new school which is most needed and that's why one reason Donnie Jackson from Elect Of God is being a part of The Marvin Gaye Tribute contributing a remake of Marvin Gaye's songs which was redone by Mary J. Blidge and rapper Method Man, but to bring a Christian feel to the tribute and help raise the awareness of Marvin Gaye. There will be Dancers, Singers and Actors as well. This should be a great tribute for all those who missed Valentines for their sweety or just doing it for that day anyway.

More info on the event can be seen on the website as well as to purchase tickets.http://www.journeytodance.com/

Also you can ask D.J. Stevie Tee why did he attack Beyonce on his above song "Bow Down"
